Hollyhock

Our studio

A little shop, full of buckets

Hollyhock opened in 2014 in an old joinery workshop on Walcot Street, Bath's artisan quarter. Three florists, one van and a lot of twine.

No. 02How we work

Three promises

  • Florists since 2014
  • British-grown May–Oct
  • Hand-written cards
  • Plastic-free wrapping
  • Photo before delivery

Seasonal first

From May to October most of our stems are grown in Somerset and Wiltshire. In winter we buy from the Dutch auctions, and we'll always tell you which is which.

No plastic

Paper, twine and an aqua pack that's fully recyclable. Our offcuts go to a community garden in Larkhall.

A photo, every time

We text you the bouquet before it leaves the studio. If it's not right, we remake it.

Kind words

Sent with love, received with joy

4.9 out of 5 from 640 reviews. A few of our favourites (example reviews for this design demo).

Birthday
“I ordered at 11 for my mum's birthday and they were at her door by 3, with a photo sent to me first. The bouquet was bigger than the picture.”
Sophie L. · Widcombe
Wedding
“Hollyhock did our wedding at the Royal Crescent. They listened, kept us on budget and the ceremony arch had guests queuing for photos.”
Amira & Josh · Bath
Subscription
“The fortnightly subscription is the best thing I pay for. Different every time, always in season, and I can pause it with one text.”
Daniel P. · Bradford-on-Avon
Sympathy
“Sent sympathy flowers to a friend in Keynsham. Calm, thoughtful arrangement, and the card message was written out beautifully by hand.”
Ruth K. · Larkhall
