Kind words
Sent with love, received with joy
4.9 out of 5 from 640 reviews. A few of our favourites (example reviews for this design demo).
“I ordered at 11 for my mum's birthday and they were at her door by 3, with a photo sent to me first. The bouquet was bigger than the picture.”
“Hollyhock did our wedding at the Royal Crescent. They listened, kept us on budget and the ceremony arch had guests queuing for photos.”
“The fortnightly subscription is the best thing I pay for. Different every time, always in season, and I can pause it with one text.”
“Sent sympathy flowers to a friend in Keynsham. Calm, thoughtful arrangement, and the card message was written out beautifully by hand.”

A small shop with big buckets
Hollyhock started in 2014 in a converted workshop on Walcot Street. We buy from British growers when the season allows, wrap in paper and twine, and compost what we can't use.

Questions
Good questions
Anything else, call the shop. You'll speak to a florist, not a call centre.
What time do I need to order for same-day delivery?
Order by 1pm, Monday to Saturday, for delivery the same afternoon across Bath (BA1 and BA2). Nearby towns need ordering by 11am. After that we deliver the next day we're open.
Will my bouquet look exactly like the photo?
It'll match the size, colours and style. Flowers change with the market each morning, so we may swap a stem for something just as good. We never send less than you paid for.
Do the flowers arrive in water?
Yes. Every hand-tied bouquet goes out in an aqua pack, a sealed pouch of water, so it can wait a few hours before going in a vase.
Can I write a card message?
Of course, and it's free. We write every card by hand. Keep it under 200 characters and tell us if you'd rather it was anonymous.
Are your flowers British?
As many as the season allows. From May to October most of our stems come from growers in Somerset and Wiltshire. In winter we buy from the Dutch auctions and say so.
How far ahead should we book wedding flowers?
Six to twelve months for a summer Saturday. We take a small number of weddings each weekend so we can give each one our full attention.
